After creating all things, we are told God proclaimed (over and over, by the way): It is good. Nowhere in the Bible do I see where God has taken that back. Sure, we're screwed up. And we have screwed the Creation up. And furthermore--observing the way some so-called Christians treat each other--no wonder many people stop going to church or practicing a religion. "People stand themselves next to the righteous," says Jackson Browne, "...and they believe the things they say are true. They speak in terms of what divides us to justify the violence that they do."
We see what we look for. Let's re-claim and practice the good faith and the good humor which connects us with the Creator, and with one another.
